A passion for Eggs Benedict

For years I have had a taste for the finer things in life.

Muv used to say: ‘Champagne ideas, beer money’

When dining out, I will gravitate towards the Breakfast menu, and if there’s a Eggs Benedict on the menu, I will order it. It’s pretty much guaranteed.

Friends have commented on my discernment for the way it is presented, the hollendaise sauce, and way it’s all piled together. No, it’s not EB is it’s ‘deconstructed’!

Cut that out.

I’ve eaten EB in the UK, Nigeria, Washington DC, Pittsburgh, Seoul (Korea), JoBerg, and many place in Australia. I like to think I know a good one from bad like a coffee drinker knows when it’s burnt.

So, seeing as one of my self cares is taking myself off to cafes to sit and watch the world go by and write, it makes sense that I start sharing my thoughts on the experiences.

Maybe you’ll get some thing out of the review, maybe you won’t.

But I’ll enjoy it.
